 AUS vs IND: Australia won the toss and decided to bat first, both players are making a debut,,,

   Australian captain Tim Paine has decided to bat by winning the toss in the third Test match that started with India at the Sydney Cricket 

        Ground (SCG) here on Thursday. This is the third match of the four-match Test series between the two teams. 

       While the hosts took the lead in the series by winning by eight wickets in the day-night Test played in Adelaide, India equalized with a stunning victory in Melbourne.

   Navdeep Saini is making his Test debut for India with this match. On the other hand, opener Rohit Sharma has returned to the team.

         In the absence of regular captain Virat Kohli, where Ajinkya Rahane is taking command, Rohit has been declared his deputy.

   While Rohit will replace Mayank Agarwal, who is going through a bad phase, Saini has been included in the team in place of Umesh Yadav.

               Saini has become the 299th player to play Test for India. Jasprit Bumrah handed test cap to Saini,,

      Will Pukowski is debuting for Australia. His team's assistant coach Andrew Macdonald handed him the baggy green.

           He becomes Australia's 460th Test player,,

In view of the increasing cases of Corona in Sydney

,

          25 per cent spectators have been allowed to enter the stadium for this match only and it will be mandatory for everyone to wear masks.

            Those found violating it will not be allowed to enter the ACG any further and also have to pay a fine of one thousand Australian dollars.
